To mark this year’s centenary of the RAF and Cotswold Airport’s own original RAF roots, Threshold Aero are putting a night shoot on Saturday 29th September to raise fund for the RAF100, where the exciting static aircraft on display at the Revival Festival during the day will uniquely be brought to life with incredible lighting. Props will be running and aircraft will be powered up to present a showstopping rare opportunity for aviation enthusiasts to photograph an eclectic group of incredible aircraft at night-time.
Glen Stanley from Threshold Aero said:
‘Coinciding with the Revival Festival at Cotswold Airport, we're pleased to be shining our lights on a number of the airfield's residents, including both Canberra PR.9s, along with aircraft visiting for the event.'
Rotary wing participants presently include at least one of Lufthansa Technical Training's two MBB Bo-105s, whilst LTT will also be giving an airing to their rarely seen VFW-614; one of only six surviving examples and the only VFW-614 in the United Kingdom.
Continuing the civil theme, two Boeing aircraft will be on show; former Kuwaiti Emiri Flight 727-200 M-FTOH and long-term inmate turned wedding venue 747-200F G-MKGA.
Additional aircraft are being announced as and when we receive confirmation of their attendance.
